Housing market for the week of February 23 2007 in Wesley Chapel Florida
Mortgage rate for the week ending on Friday 23 February 2007.
The average interest rate for the 30 year mortgage declined this week to 6.22%.
The explanation for this decrease is due to the recent reports showing a slowing US housing market. When economic indicators show a weekness in the economy, mortgage rates tend to decline.
