The mission of the East Pasco Habitat for Humanity HomeStore is to generate funds to
build more affordable homes for needy families in the East Pasco area.
How the HomeStore helps the community:
- Provides an opportunity to purchase new and good, used materials for
work around the home and yard at 50 to 70 percent off retail prices.
- Provides an opportunity to upgrade furnishings within the home or rental property.
- Provides a tax break for donors.
- Allows contractors who donate to save on landfill fees.
- Provides the "Recycling of materials" that would otherwise
potentially have gone to a landfill thereby lengthening the life of the county landfill.
- Provides our Habitat Home families with an opportunity to
furnish their new homes with quality items.
- Provides critical needs for families with an opportunity to
quickly recover from emergency situations.
Shop at our HomeStore.
Our HomeStore is a great place to find a bargain and do
a good deed at the same time. Money generated from
our store helps build homes at a faster pace and gets
families out of poverty housing sooner.
Who the HomeStore will sell to:
The target market is the general public, small contractors, and rental property owners.

Need to clean out your garage?
Do you buy things at Home Depot or Lowes but never use them?
Our HomeStore in your community is a great place to
drop off used furniture, appliances, housewares, and
building supplies. And for those items too big for you to
bring to us, call us for pickup service.
Items the HomeStore will accept:
The HomeStore will accept items that are new, and if
used, in good condition, that would fall into the following categories:

Doors, windows, tile, paint, hardware, flooring, (all carpet must be new), air conditioners, bricks, cabinetry, sinks, tubs, counter tops, toilets, etc.
Home Furnishings...
Appliances, furniture, lighting fixtures, ceiling fans,
artwork, dishes, electronics, linen and bed coverings, planters, etc.
Where the HomeStore donations come from:
Most of our donations come from the general public,
business closings, contractors, and unused supplies from
manufacturers, dealers and warehouses.
Call us before you demolish...
Do you own a great piece of land, but you prefer another
housing style on your land? Remember to call us before
you demolish the existing house. Often we can salvage
building materials and sell them in our HomeStore.
Are you remodeling, renovating, etc?
Remember to keep East Pasco Habitat for Humanity in
mind before you dispose of your furniture, fixtures,
housewares, etc. that are usable and in good condition.
